Burgdorf Castle, an architectural monument of national importance, has stood on the castle rock on the Emme River for more than 800 years. After the castle had experienced a lot, it became a unique place of experience for the first time in spring 2020, a "castle for everyone" and thus completely open to the public. In addition to the museum with educational offers for schools, a wedding room, a youth hostel and a restaurant were added. Marrying, celebrating, marveling, sleeping and learning are all possible in the castle, which was greatly expanded by the Zähringers around the year 1200. Education and history can be experienced up close and the feeling of being in the film "Night in the Museum" can arise. With the wedding room, the wedding suite and the noble banqueting hall, you can also enjoy the most beautiful day.
